Henderlong Homes was founded in 1993 by Timothy G. Henderlong, a fourth generation builder who began his residential construction career in 1969 as a laborer for his father’s company.  Upon graduation from college followed by several years of training as a construction superintendent, Tim eventually joined his father as partner in T-K Builders in 1979.  Known for building functional, affordable homes and providing his customers with a rewarding experience, Tim has gained notoriety within the industry and wide ranging respect amongst his peers.  An advocate for the residential construction industry as a whole, Tim has served as President of the Builders Industry Association on three occasions and continues to be active at the state and national levels of the Home Builders Association.

The company reached into the fifth generation of the family’s building heritage with the addition of Tim’s nephew, Jon Henderlong, in 2005.  Much like his uncle, Jon learned the trades through hands-on work during the summers of both high school and college and has spent nearly his entire post-graduate career in the residential construction industry.  As Vice President/Operations Manager of Henderlong Homes, his focus is on utilizing practical experience and continued education to develop innovative and efficient processes that will enable the company to expand the products and services offered to our customers.
